Used MB Quart RSB 215 Referenze Premium Component Sets
Purchase 2 sets of RSB215 MBQuart, they are $225 a set HERE
Task : Replace all tweeters and 5.25" speakers with new MB Quart speakers
Reason : Improve the sound quality and clarity
I am very satisfied with this upgrade. It greatly increased the clarity/quality of the DSP sound system in my 2000 540. I am sure these instructions would work well on a non DSP sound system as well. No amps were replaced and no speaker wiring ran. This is a direct replacement of 8 speakers inside the car in the stock locations.

Stock DSP Speakers :
Front (24mm Tweeter 8ohm, 53mm Midrange 8ohm, 5.25" Midbass 8ohm)
Back (32mm Rear Tweeter 4ohm, 5.25" Midrange 8ohm
Stock amp can handle 4 ohm load all around.
Next Phases :
Upgrade Front Door midrange (53mm driver) with something! Haven't found a driver solution yet for this size. Anyone know of one? Found out the MBQuart MCD51 are in a 4.7" mount so they will not work
